Winter Blankets – Save Lives

The bitter cold of winter is not too far off. Harsh winters in the remote places that CAI serves bring discomfort, misery, and even death to the poor and vulnerable. We are mobilizing to distribute thick, warm blankets to families, especially single women with children in remote parts of Afghanistan, Iraq, India (Kargil), Pakistan (north), Iraq, and Yemen.

A long-lasting life-saving blanket costs US$32 (including internal transport and remote logistics) and covers 2 adults in warmth. Our target is to distribute about 14,000 blankets in these countries. Please help in this very worthy cause. Sponsor a blanket or more and give comfort to a poor family – even save a life. Allah bless.
