Lifesaver Blankets For Winter
Winter is here, and CAI has mobilized to provide life-saving blankets to those in need, especially in freezing, remote areas where a warm blanket can mean the difference between life and death.
The distribution of 5,000 very warm blankets is underway in rural Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, and Yemen at a cost of US$32 each. These are thick, large blankets that two adults can share.
We still have some ways to go in collecting the funds for this fantastic investment in humanity. Help save a life; please sponsor one or more blankets. Please act now before it’s too late, as costs will escalate and road closures are likely due to snow and ice.

Madagascar Orphans
Manakara is a dirt-poor and very remote area of Madagascar, a two-day drive from the capital, Antananarivo. CAI donors have sponsored seventy orphans to go to school and provides free lunch to hundreds of other impoverished children.

Remote Medical Clinics – Afghanistan
Comfort Aid International supports six remote medical clinics in some of the most isolated parts of Afghanistan, where roads are blocked for about four months every year because of snow and ice. These clinics, built about 10 years ago, are lifesavers for local people, especially expectant mothers, who can now deliver their babies safely 24/7. They provide free medical care, vaccinations, medicines, and delivery services. A very proud donor/CAI undertaking.
