FOUNDING VALUES

FOUNDING VALUES

RESPECT

We acknowledge the dignity, potential and contribution of the individuals we serve, our donors and partner charities.

INTEGRITY

We always act in accordance with CAI’s mission, by being honest and transparent in what we do and say. We accept complete responsibility for our collective and individual actions.

DEDICATION

We work diligently to serve humanity for the pleasure of our Creator.

QUALITY

We are constantly learning and challenging ourselves to perform with equity and compassion.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

In order to carry out our vision and mission, all of CAI’s uncompromising plans adhere to the following Program Principles, that inform and guide the way we work.

01. Promote individual self-help

We stand in camaraderie with marginalized and destitute people, and support their efforts to empower their lives and realize their rights, responsibilities and aspirations. We ascertain that key recipients are involved in the planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of our programs.

02. Partner with existing charities

We work with existing charities to maximize impact of our resources. We build alliances with those who offer corresponding approaches, are able to adopt our rationale of addressing challenges, and demonstrate a commitment to fulfilling rights and alleviating poverty through policy change and enforcement.

03. Guarantee transparency

We seek to be accountable to the marginalized and destitute people whose rights are denied. We are committed to be accountable to our donors; reassuring the appropriation of their funds. We are committed to be 100% compliant to all regulations that govern CAI’s operations, both in the United States and abroad.

04. Seek sustainability

By identifying and addressing causes of poverty, we develop and implement strategies that ensure our aid enables long-term and fundamental upgrades in the lives of the marginalized and destitute.

05. Equalize gender disparity

Due to preferential bias given to males in some countries, we strive to equalize opportunities by prioritizing females in education, medical and economic projects.
