CAI To Sponsor Shihabiyah School Near Najaf, Iraq – 42nd Worldwide School Undertaking
Shibaniyah is a poor village about 40km from Najaf. About 450 children walk to and from school 7km each way, including winter and summer. The poor villagers got together and donated land and collected US$15k for the construction of 10 classrooms and ran out of funds. CAI will insha’Allah step up and complete the construction costing $40,000. $20,000 of these funds are still needed; please donate if possible so these poor children can get a shot at a decent education.

CAI To Assist Victims Of Gardeez Mosque Bombing
A bomb and shooting attack on worshippers at a mosque in Gardeez, Paktia Province killed 36 people and maimed 81 others. CAI is working to assist the injured and remaining survivors who lost a bread earner with 3 months of food aid.
