Heaters Winter Drive | Lebanon | 2024
Lebanon is facing severe distress once again. Large parts of the country’s cities have been devastated, leaving many homeless and reliant on donations for food, blankets, and clean water. As winter approaches, temperatures have dropped significantly, bringing snow and harsh conditions that will make survival even more challenging.
With the power grid destroyed, access to electricity is nonexistent. Portable gas heaters have become the only viable means to stay warm. To address this, CAI is preparing to supply 2,300 families with a heater and gas bottle unit. The cost for each set is $73.
To make this possible, we aim to raise $167,900. Your support is vital for the survival of these vulnerable people.

Major Additions at Imamu Ali Secondary School for Girls | Arusha, Tanzania
We are working to support Imamu Ali Secondary Boarding School for Girls in Arusha, Tanzania. Our goal is to:
- Construct two new classrooms to accommodate more students.
- Install a rainwater harvesting system with a 50,000-liter storage capacity, supported by four catchment areas for optimal collection.
- Incorporate provisions to enable future expansion of the water storage capacity.
- Install solar panels to provide a sustainable and eco-friendly power solution for the school.
Your support can help turn such projects into reality, providing essential resources for the education and well-being of students in underrepresented areas.

Visiting Afghanistan | Nov 2024
This year’s biannual compliance visit took us to three of CAI’s five remote clinics in Daykundi province (with the sixth clinic located in Bamyan province). The journey led us deep into the rugged and untouched interiors of the region, showcasing not only the physical and mental resilience needed to navigate these challenging terrains but, more importantly, the incredible strength of the locals who endure and thrive in such harsh conditions.
This was also our first visit to the interiors since the political changes in Afghanistan, marking a significant milestone in our efforts to reconnect with and support these communities.
Additionally, we visited the Sakina Girls Home, Zahra Boys Home orphanages, and our private school, CPES, in Kabul. The snapshots from these visits reflect the transformative impact of your unwavering generosity, which continues to uplift lives and sustain hope in underserved communities.
