2025 Ramadhan Food Aid
CAI will insha’Allah, for the 27th consecutive year, distribute Ramadhan iftaar food baskets to the poor and homeless during February 2025. This aid will cover eligible recipients in the following 23 countries – Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, India, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Pakistan, Rohingya/Bangladesh, Senegal, Somalia, Syria, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Yemen and Zimbabwe.
As the logistics of purchase, transport and distribution of the food grains is so varied and involves delicate and timely planning, we are hoping to get the ball rolling now. We need to raise US$1,400,000 to feed 28,000 families across these countries at US$50 of basic foodgrains each.
Alhamd’Allah CAI has not failed to reach the goal every year except one and we are confident we can feed all these fasting individuals this year as well. Please contribute or pledge now so that we can do this all together and help a poor fasting person have a decent, nutritious iftaar meal.

Lifesaver Blanket Distribution | India
Just like other countries who experience life threatening winter weather, the most vulnerable poor exposed to the chilly elements in the snow bound regions of India received a life-saving thick blanket, gifted by the worldwide donors of Comfort Aid International (USA).

Ramla's Success Story
The following is just one of the hundreds of students CAI donors support with scholarships around the world. We support over 300 academically brilliant but financially struggling students around the world annually, helping them meet their career objectives and live productive futures.
My name is Ramla Swedy Manga from Kigoma region-Tanzania, where I live with my mother because my father died 20 years ago.
Due to financial problems, I could not continue with my post-secondary education. In 2023, I needed to continue with the one-year course of my master’s degree – Master of Laws in International Criminal Justice and Human Rights (LL.M-ICJHR) at the University of Iringa. Since I was unemployed and could not afford the tuition fees and other college expenses, a mentor referred me to Comfort Aid International’s scholarship program for gifted students with financial hardships.
I connected with Comfort Aid International (CAI), where I applied for a scholarship. Fortunately, they agreed to sponsor 75% of the tuition fees for the academic year 2023/2024 until I finish my master’s degree.
I thank God I finished my studies safely with good grades on 13th December 2024 under Comfort Aid International (CAI) sponsorship as promised. I am very grateful to CAI for their support that enabled me to finish my program and continue my career’s path.
Regards,
Ramla Swedy
