Water Project For Rohingya Refugees
The 750,000 Rohingya refugees at the camp outside Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh live a pitiful existence. Forcibly expelled from their homeland and disdained by the host country, they live a resourceless life of hopelessness. CAI donors have made daily potable water to about 40,000 for the last 4 years possible. Water from 2 deep borewells is pumped to various locations in Camp 4 and Camp 8. They can access this water 24×7. Allah bless.
Worldwide Food Crises
The world is going through acute crises of food supply and costs. Our feeding of displaced refugees, especially in Afghanistan, Yemen and Africa has risen an average of 18% in the last 6 months. That means CAI must cut back an equal number of families to make the math work. Vulnerable children in the places CAI helps with basic rations need continued support for food, or else they will succumb to malnutrition, disease, or worse.
