CAI Aids Orlando Shooting Victims:
CAI is lending a helping hand by aiding the families of victims who lost their lives in the tragic shooting incident at Orlando on June 12. An initial donation of $1,000 is going to the fund set up for the families and more as and when donations are received. This is the least we at CAI can do. Zakat Fitra:
CAI is collecting Zakat Fitra to be distributed to the poor in Afghanistan, India and Tanzania on Eid day. We recommend an amount of US$10 per person. It is important that amounts are paid no later than July 1. All payments after this date will be distributed up to 2 days after Eid day. Please ensure your niyyat as a loan to CAI changing it to that of Zakat on Eid day.

5 Water Well Project In Zanzibar:
This project, delayed due to prolonged severe weather, is now coming along nicely. This one well is complete, another in under construction and the balance will insha’Allah be completed by December 2016.
