CAI Feeding/Medical Program For COVID-19 Worldwide Victims Continue – Lebanon/Afghanistan/Yemen In The Spotlight
CAI donors are continuing the feeding programs for daily wage earners who are in lockdown confinement, unable to work, and whose families are going hungry. Food aid to over 12 countries continues, especially in Lebanon, Yemen, and Afghanistan.
CAI has received distressing reports of young girls from middle-class families going door to door in Lebanon, begging for leftover food.. CAI is mobilizing to send food aid to the vulnerable families shortly insha’Allah.
COVID-19 cases in Yemen, particularly in Aden, are spiking and government resources are unavailable. CAI is mobilizing to send medical aid to the vulnerable patients shortly insha’Allah.
Herat in Afghanistan is experiencing an uncontrollable wave of COVID-10 cases and running out of oxygen support for stricken victims. Most patients are very poor and cannot afford the basic medication to keep them or their hopes alive. CAI has already mobilized with oxygen tanks and medication.

Refurbishing Of Yombo Vocational Center – DSM, Tanzania
CAI has undertaken the refurbishment of this center in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania which is in a dreadful condition. About sixty handicapped students call this place home, trying to learn a vocation. However, their living condition is shockingly bad so CAI donors chipped in to refurbish the kitchen and toilets facilities as a start. Sharing some photos of WIP:
16 Homes For Homeless Widows In Kabul Handed Over
16 poor homeless widows and orphans, victims of the violence in Afghanistan, received keys to their new homes, gifted by donors of CAI. A very happy day and event for them. They can now concentrate on feeding and educating their children instead of worrying about paying 50% or more of what they earn in rent. Sharing a few photos:
