Zakaat Fitrah – Plan Ahead
CAI must plan now since these funds benefit the poor in distant and difficult places. The zakaat will benefit 1,400 individuals in the following countries:
Afghanistan
East Africa
India
Madagascar
Pakistan
Lebanon/Syria
Yemen
CAI recommends donating US$14 per individual contribution as a gift to CAI and then switching the intention to Zakaat Fitr on the day of Eid.

2025 Ramadhan Food Aid
CAI has concluded the 2025 Ramadhan food basket distribution. This aid reached over 19,000 low-income families in the following 23 countries – Afghanistan (2,300), Benin (410), Burkina Faso (410), Chad (410), India (2,300), Iraq (820), Kenya (665), Lebanon (3,700) (included 2,300 Syrian refugees), Liberia (410), Madagascar (410), Mali (410), Niger (410), Pakistan (1,400), Philippines (150), Rohingya/Bangladesh (203), Senegal (410), Somalia (410), Tanzania (770), Togo (410), Uganda (320), and Yemen (2,300).
This food aid will supplement iftaar for almost 95,000 hungry individuals to eat a nutritious meal. Bless you all for making this 27th food drive a success.
We have a small US$19,000 deficit that we hope to collect during this holy month.
