2011 Ramadhan Iftaar Fund: |
| Repeating our efforts of past 17 years, CAI will insha’Allah assist in providing poor families with Iftaar support this coming blessed month of Ramadhan. Our reach will include feeding programs for the poor and destitute in the following Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka:
We are US$40,000 short going into this last stretch, please help; I am certain we will all play our parts to make this Ramadhan a little easier for those who struggle to survive. May Allah (S) immensely bless you for your kindness and generosity.

| Mass Marriages In Afghanistan: |
| CAI sponsors helped wed 100 very poor couples on Sunday, July 10 2011 at Yawkawlang, Afghanistan. This was a wonderful and very happy event for these hapless people who have seen very far and few between happiness in their lives. CAI presented each couple a US$500 gift pack that holds all essentials for a couple to begin new lives and a massive waleema lunch followed the nikkah ceremony. Here are few photos.

| Water Wells For Parched Areas In Yawkawlang: |
| 16 out of 23 planned water wells for parched areas in Yawkalang, Afghanistan are either complete or will be complete by the end of July insha’Allah. These wells are a challenge to drill due to the terrain but well worth it as they provide great relief for the villagers who face unimaginable difficulties in procuring everyday water needs. I was able to visit 3 of them; some photos:
