Sindh, Pakistan Food Crisis – An Urgent Appeal: |
I have just returned from a tour of flood affected areas in Pakistan. Although Punjab holds much promise with very good wheat and cotton harvests this year insha’Allah, Sindh Province is in acute food crises with many families going with one meal a day only, if that. CAI has released US$10,000 for purchase of food grains but this will hardly make a dent into the dire situation. Please help us purchase at least another $15,000 worth of food grains by April 15 by making a contribution. Please kindly circulate this appeal to those that may not get or see it. |

Sri Lanka Flood Relief – An Update: |
CAI recently came to the aid of flood victims in eastern Srilanka, repairing damaged homes and replacing school books for children who lost them in the foods. A total of 14 homes have been repaired and over 500 students helped with school supplies. Here are few photographs.
