SOS Winter Blankets for Syrian Refugees

All of you must be aware of news reports regarding refugees from Syria. Comfort Aid International has received heartbreaking reports of children dying due to exposure from the severe winter that grips most of the area where refugees have taken shelter from the tragic violence in Syria. Arrangements are underway to distribute 2,500 life-saving blankets through the offices of late A. Mohsin Al Hakeem, who are actively assisting these refugees in Lebanon. Funds permitting, we will up these blanket quantities insha’Allah.

All distribution arrangements are handled by WABIL in London who will coordinate with Syed Hyder Ali Hakeem’s charitable group. Kindly assist if you can; a warm blanket costs about US$20; you may help save a life?

There are cheaper blankets available in the market but CAI will pay for a larger, better quality and heavier one that can accommodate up to four, insha’Allah.
