Baneen Maternity Clinic – Update

This clinic, located in Manakara, Madagascar, when completed in December 2025, insha’Allah, will be a lifesaver for hundreds of poor expectant mothers, providing them with a safe, sterile, and affordable (or free) medical facility for the delivery of their babies. Catering to the most vulnerable and impoverished women in rural Manakara, the clinic will serve as a safe haven for pre-and post-natal care.

Three More Water Wells For Remote Tanzania

CAI Trustees commissioned three additional deep-water wells in rural Tanzania, bringing the total number of deep-water wells drilled in East Africa to well over 100.

The children and women you see in these photos walked about two kilometers to fetch a bucket of unhealthy water daily. CAI commissioned three deep-water wells in three distant villages of Tanga, Tanzania, which will provide approximately 5,000 people in each village with access to potable water at all times.

The commissioning of these wells, about three hours’ hard driving from Tanga town, was gratifying. The villagers erupted in joy, dancing and thanking the donors for the water and gifting us with a live chicken and bananas. What a treat!
