Zakat Fitr 2026
As in the past 27 years, CAI will distribute Zakat Fitr to the eligible poor in nine countries this year. Please pay your obligations to CAI before March 12. The recommended amount per person is US$14.
Remember to contribute the funds as a loan and then convert the intention on Eid day to Zakat.

Manakara School – Betela PK13
This new school, gifted to poor children in Manakara, rural Madagascar, is well under way, scheduled for inauguration August 2026, insha’Allah.

Potable Water For Suburban Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and surrounding areas recently experienced severe water shortages due to delayed short rains. This brought misery to thousands.
CAI donors stepped in with drinking water trucked into the worst areas. 10 truckloads of water may not have resolved the shortage but brought relief and joy to the people in pain.
