Lifesaver Blankets For Winter
Winter snow and ice kill people, especially children, the infirm, and the elderly. These deaths are preventable. CAI will distribute thick, life-saving blankets to remote parts of the world, so the most vulnerable can wake up alive in the morning.CAI must mobilize now because it will take at least a few weeks to place the orders and transport them across rugged terrain to reach the villages in time for the deep winter freeze. A high-quality blanket for two adults costs about US$32.

Water Wells – Tanzania
Many remote areas of Tanzania lack potable water, and people (especially women and young children) toil for hours under a punishing sun in search of murky water. CAI donors have already drilled about 95 deep boreholes across Tanzania, bringing sheer joy to about 500,000 people.Sharing a few photos of 2 recently drilled water wells. Thalassemia Crisis – Parachinar, Pakistan
For various reasons, primarily ignorance, people in Parachinar, Pakistan, are affected by the widespread tragedy of thalassemia. It takes about US$40 per treatment for an affected child and about 12 treatments per year to save one life. CAI donors have supported this program for over 7 years.
