The folks at Hallour, UP could not contain themselves and began classes even before CAI has completely finished the construction of the school building! Work continues to complete the entire school by December 2015 insha’Allah. In the meanwhile, some 50 children from poor families will attend KG1 / KG2 and Class 1 classes in these conditions:

Water Crises In Haleke, Afghanistan

These photos paint the misery of water issues in this 9,000 plus people remote village of Afghanistan; the situation in winter is even more wretched. A water distribution system with unlimited clean potable water from high up mountain springs will solve the problem but will cost US$77,000. This is investing US$9 per person for a minimum of 25 years worth of clean drinking and potable water. A no brainer clear-cut investment for the pleasure of Allah. Imagine!
