Syria Milk Aid – Mission Accomplished
Sohail Abdullah and I were on the ground in Syria during Ramadhan supervising the distribution of infant milk to wanting children. About 12,000 families benefited from this excellent program. Each poor family with infants received a month’s supply of milk, gladdening thousands of mothers.
Bibi Zainab (a) Girls School Opens In Afghanistan
This CAI-sponsored school, in a remote province of Afghanistan, was inaugurated in March 2023. About 300 girl students will benefit from a brand-new, modern structure with proper bathrooms and desks for a better, enlightened future, insha’Allah. Sharing a few photos:
Starvation In Somalia
Somalia is going through its sixth year of extreme drought as the rains have failed yet again. Thousands of internally displaced refugees are camped outside the capital Mogadishu in desperate unsanitary conditions and hungry – the children are most vulnerable to starvation and disease. CAI is mobilizing food for these hapless people and will distribute it by the end of April insha’Allah. CAI is short about US$41k of the total US$100k required. Please help if possible. Allah bless.
