Nasiriyah, Iraq Water Project Finally Commences
The water project benefiting over 10,000 people including 300 orphans in Nasiriyah, Iraq, and delayed due to COVID-19 lockdown, was officially commissioned on July 25. This potable water resource is critical since these hapless people were drinking and using lead-contaminated water. Sharing a few photos:
Homes Gifted To The Homeless In Kabul, Afghanistan
CAI donor sponsored homes were distributed to additional 30 homeless families headed by a widow with children, part of a 200 housing project for poor homeless widows in Daste Barche, Kabul, Afghanistan. These poor widows can now concentrate on earning for food and not worry about rent. Sharing a few photos:
Hajj Eid Qurbaani
Over 600 animals were sacrificed and the meat/skin distributed to the poor and destitute in Afghanistan, India, Kenya, Pakistan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Yemen. Hundreds of photos on CAI’s Facebook page.
