CAI donors will construct their 51st school in a poor community in Burgos, Philippines shortly insha’Allah. The initial phase will be for potable water with a water-well followed by toilets for both sexes. This will be followed by the reconstruction of their dilapidated school structure. Burgos is an ingenious area of the Philippines and the inhabitants live in stark poverty.
CAI To Empower 100 Families Cultivate Land In Kenya
CAI donors to rent agriculture land for about 100 poor families in Busia, Kenya to plow the land, plant and harvest sugarcane which will readily be sold to a nearby sugarcane factory. This is an interest-free loan and 25% repayment waived if the principal amount is paid off on time. A win-win situation for economically empowering poor families earn an honest living.
