Ramadhan 2020 and COVID-19 Aid Update:
CAI is concluding the distribution of food in 24 countries to supplement iftaar for the poor, and those struggling with unemployment or an inability to work due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
The combined iftaar / COVID-19 food aid programs totaled US$860,000 in supplementing food aid to over 32,000 families. This was a massive undertaking by volunteers in 24 countries who executed these challenging deliveries of aid, much to their peril, reaching the most vulnerable in humanity, some in distant and remote areas of our world.
