2020 Winter lifesaving blankets for Afghanistan / Yemen
The goal is within reach. Please consider donating a blanket or more to ensure a homeless or destitute widow with children will sleep in relative comfort this winter. These very thick (5 kilos each covering an adult and a child in comfort) cost US$25 each, and are lifesavers in the remote areas of Afghanistan.
Chimba Elementary School, Pemba, Tanzania
Work has begun on the CAI donor sponsored three-classroom extension project for this poor school in a rural area of Pemba, Tanzania. CAI donors have been aiding this school the last couple of years, first with desks for all students so they now sit and study instead of stooping on a dirty floor and then with a five each girls/boys modern bathrooms so the kids, especially girls, can go for the call of nature in a dignified manner.

Nasiriyya, Iraq Water Project Commissioned
This water-well project in a poor neighborhood of Nasariyya, Iraq, aiding over 10,000 people, including 500 orphans living in the vicinity, was officially commissioned and handed over recently. The potable water is desalinated, purified and distributed to household who have access to it 24x7x365.
