CAI must receive these contributions no later than July 25 to be able to distribute these on Eid day insha’Allah. All funds received after this date will be distributed after Eid day. Please remember to make the niyyat of this as a loan to CAI and then change it to that of Zakaat el Fitra on Eid day.
|Feeding Rohingya Refugees
I am on the ground in Chittagong, Bangladesh as you read this, trying to feed Burmese Rohingya refugees, who as you know, are in dire conditions of hunger, homelessness and despair. CAI may not be able to help all of them, but help we must and I cannot fathom a better time than this holy month of Ramadhan. Please find a place in your heart to help these hapless people and donate under Food For The Hungry button onwww.comfortaid.org.
A full trip report with photos coming up on my return insha’Allah.
