Appeal For 11 Month Syed Mehdi Abbas – Cochlear Surgery

Abbas is 11 month infant with BILATERAL SENSORINEURAL HEARING LOSS, of Bharat Nagar, Mumbai India. If his condition is not corrected, he will be permanently deaf. The success rate of such surgeries in infants, per medical experts, is almost 100% and is the only solution. I turn to you because the surgery is pricey at about US$11,000; please let us help. Educating India’s Poor

CAI donors helped provide educational support for poor students in India to the tune of over US$95,000 in academic year 2011 – 2012 alone; alhamd’Allah! These monies have, over past years, made it possible for very poor students (especially girls) become doctors, pharmacists, computer programers, engineers and teachers. This is a very, very proud donor / CAI accomplishment. I thank Allah (S) for giving us the opportunity for this invaluable service to the poor and profoundly thank our wonderful, kind and always supportive donors for their sacrifices.
