CAI To Empower Poor Tanzanians Become Economically Independent:
CAI will begin assisting start-ups or struggling entrepreneurs with small-scale interest-free loans so they can grow and employ fellow poor Tanzanians. Fishing, bee husbandry, farming, and honey harvesting activities will benefit from these loans insha’Allah.
Kabul Widow Economic Upliftment Project A Major Success:
The project to train 50 very destitute widows in carpet yarn weaving is bearing fruit alhamd’Alah. These widows are now earning enough to feed their families, but more importantly, they are off the poor feeding roster. Sharing some photos:
SGH – Sirsi Girls Orphanage Construction Photo Update:
This project at Sirsi, UP, India is on schedule and the 50 odd CAI girl orphans will insha’Allah move to their new home on May 12, 2018. Sharing photos:
Hallour School Extention Construction Photo Update:
CAI built the elementary school for non-going poor children in Hallour, India and the school was such a huge success, it had to expand to cater for higher classes. A 50% loan/50% grant scheme was arranged and the extension high school is well underway. This particular school will insha’Allah be self-sustaining by the time the new wing opens in 2019 insha’Allah.
