2018 Ramadhan Iftaar Appeal – Another Success
Alhamd’Allah, generous worldwide donors were able to raise the funds for this project and iftaar food packs have/are being delivered to over 10,000 poor families in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Gambia, Guinea, India, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Somaliland, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, and the Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazaar, BD.
CAI acknowledges the stellar role played by partners Beta (UK) / WABIL (UK) / TRS (NZ) in this worldwide initiative.
Zakaat Fitr
CAI will be distributing your Zakaat Fitr obligations to those eligible poor in various countries once more insha’Allah. Recommend amount is US$10 each per individual. Please donate or pledge by June 14 – final. If the donations/pledges are received after this time, it will be distributed after Eid day on kadha basis.
Burkina Faso School In Ouagadagadu
Sharing photos of CAI and Beta Charitable Trust donor funded school under construction, slated to open October 2018 insha’Allah. This school will cater to educating about 600 poor students offering them an opportunity at a quality education and a brighter, better future insha’Allah.
Yemen Food/Powder Milk/Medicines Program Must Continue – 2,000 Children To Receive Eid Gifts
The food/medicine/powder milk program for Yemen must continue, since there is very little option. CAI and partners Beta Charitable Trust donors have an ongoing program to ensure the malnutrition-ravaged children get a lifeline with the high-protein/high-calorie milk powder and food for their mothers. CAI donors will, insha’Allah, gift 2,000 traumatized Yemeni children with a set of new clothes, some candy and a toy this Eid day. Let us bring a smile to these wretched kids who have seen nothing but misery, destruction and death and felt only hunger, pain and misery.
