Ramadhan 2019 – Appeal For Iftaar Aid
The holy month of Ramadhan, when we share our bounties with those who don’t have enough to eat, is less than a few weeks away; CAI has begun preparing the logistics of purchase and distribution of food grains.
Alhamd’Allah, this will be CAI’s 23rd year of Iftaar distribution to people in the most remote parts of this world. Like last year, the food grains will be delivered to the poor and destitute in 19 countries – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Guinea Bissau, Burkina Faso, Chad, Bessau Conakry, India, Gabon, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Yemen.
Please donate or pledge now so we can lock in the best rates before prices inevitably raise nearer to the holy month. The remoteness and challenges of some locales like Yemen, Afghanistan and for the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh make it incumbent for CAI to mobilize resources now. Let us please feed a fasting widow and her children to a full stomach – Allah bless.
Sitting On Desks – First Time Ever!
CAI donors totally renovated the dilapidated Abul Fazl Abbas Elementary School in Tanga, Tanzania and gifted them with running water, tiled floors, library, computers, laboratories, uniforms, and desks, making it possible for the kids to sit in comfort and concentrate for the first time ever. Now, there is nothing stopping these poor children from academic excellence.
