Baneen Maternity Clinic Opens

The Baneen Maternity Clinic, which serves impoverished mothers-to-be in the remote area of Manakara, Madagascar, opened its doors on April 5, 2026. The opening was attended by Colonel Gervais, High Advisor to the Refoundation from Antananarivo, along with other senior government officials.

55 expectant mothers were checked on the day of the opening. This clinic, powered 100% by solar energy and CAI’s 7th worldwide, will provide prenatal, live deliveries—including cesarean if needed—and postnatal services to mothers living in very poor and remote parts of Manakara.

A proud donor-CAI undertaking.
