Water Woes – Tanga, Tanzania
The following three remote villages in Tanga suffer from excruciating water woes. Their women and children, who skip school for this errand, have to walk long distances for a bucket of murky water. The following photos speak volumes of their plight. CAI will shortly, insha’Allah, embark on drilling three deep water wells to alleviate their pain. These will be deep water wells, with a 5,000 liters storage each and distribution lines. Each well will benefit about 3,000-5,000 individuals. The water will then be available 24x7x365.
Please help if you can. Allah bless.
