Kabul Sakeena Girls Orphanage At Full Strength
|
CAI girl’s orphanage in Kabul, Sakeena Girls Home now is at full capacity – 20. It is painful to say no to many others who are in line. Depending on your generosity, CAI will expand to 50 orphans soon, insha’Allah; we need a bigger facility and more manpower but more importantly we need to educate them so they are empowered for a meaningful life of a Muslima. Will you please support us? The incremental cost for another 30 girls is about US$30k per year. This includes school fees, tuition, Islamic education, food, clothing, medical etc.
Story of Zahra:
Zahra Kocholo (little Zahra, there is an older Zahra at the orphanage already) is a 3 year old orphan whose mother went insane after her father died leaving her to relatives who have abused her. CAI took over alhamd’Allah; she now gets 3 square meals a day, medical care, goes to kindergarden and is trying hard be a normal happy child, insha’Allah. Here she is:

Medical Care For India’s Poor
|
CAI has already committed over US$30,000 in life / death medical cases for first 6 months of 2012 in India alone. CAI regularly receives urgent medical appeals from pre-screened poor and eligible candidates, mostly kidney failures, cancers or organ transplants. These funds are above regular monthly prescription support to poor widows all across India. Apart from specific donor medical funds received by CAI, sadeqa funds are also utilized in case of shortfall.
