Appeal For Amputated Arm |
This nine year old child, Syed Abbas Mehdi Hassan was attending a majlis on Dec 30, 2012 when his arm got caught in an elevator and was completely severed. Doctors at Mumbai Hospital have successfully attached the arm but real infection dangers lurk and payment of medial bills for his dad, a $76 / month wage earner, is impossible. The total bill for surgery, medicines and rehabilitation will total about US$15,000; CAI is pitching in $7,700 in Sehme Sadaat funds. Will you please help?

Aid To Shaheed Families – Pakistan |
We are still actively supporting families of victims due to sectarian violence in Pakistan. Although CAI was able to assist with US$30,000 in immediate aid to victims families, medical bills for survivors is a daunting task. I am still hopeful we can reach our goal of raising $50,000 for this tragic and heart wrenching cause. Please help if you can.
Update on Mehzer Fatema – Mehzer has now moved out of ICU but her condition remains guarded with a bullet damaged lung and one still loged in her spinal cord. She will need prolonged specialized treatment and care; please continue praying for her.
