Humanitarian Aid For GAZA

CAI is partnering with the World Federation of KSIMC in the UK to render urgent aid to the victims of GAZA through UNRWA, a United Nations agency for humanitarian aid. As usual, CAI is providing this service at zero admin cost to the the donor. CAI has, in the initial phase, pledged US$50,000 but will send more if and when collected.
Please help us bring some food, water, medicines and shelter to these hapless people, especially children so traumatized by the violence. Please go to CAI donate page and click on GAZA Relief.

| Ramadhan Iftaar Relief Update |

It was unfortunate CAI did not raise all the $250,000 planned for this project but alhamd’Allah, using sadaqa, fidya and kafarra funds, all target areas were met. Your dollars made it possible for the poor and destitute in the following countries eat a fuller, healthier iftaar:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Liberia, Somaliland, Sudan, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.

Your zakaat dollars helped the poor and destitute in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Tanzania. A total of US$10,000 was distributed to over 230 poor individuals.

| Takhave School WIP |

This school in a very remote part of Bamiyan Province, Afghanistan is well under way. You must appreciate the land on which the school is being built had to be literally carved out of a solid rock mountain!
Soft opening coming up in October insha’Allah. Pure joy and comfort for over 600 girls / boys who will study in comfort and safety. This is CAI’s 15th school in Afghanistan with 16th under construction in Dykoondy Province and 2 more planned for 2014 / 2015 insha’Allah.
