Blankets Save Lives!
|
CAI has, over last five years, distributed life saving blankes to very poor families in very remote parts of Afghanistan. These very thick and heavy blankets are critical for these families stay alive during very brutal winter period between December and February when the cold is oppressive and take many lives of the very young and elderly.
CAI is arranging the distribution of 3,200 such blankets in 2012 but we must act now, when prices are reasonable. A good quality blanket, including freight costs to many remotest parts of this earth costs about US$23. Please help us get this project swinging by enabling one clild stay alive or a mother to share a warm night with her family. Please gift one or more blanket ASAP. CAI will purchase these and start transporting to the recipient locations now; the process can take up to a couple of months!
